SONG RELEASE STORY
April 29, 2022
As I release my newest song today, I am also sharing what being unstoppable means to me. I drew the Nine of Wands and wrote Unstoppable on June 19, 2021. At the time, I pictured a bold female fighter, laser focused and resilient, backing chaos and unmanageability into the corner, and with a swift movement of a sword as her weapon, smashing them to the ground. I felt her spirit and energy as I wrote each measure and phrase. I wanted to be her. Maybe I already was her and just didn't know it yet.
Seven months later, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. For the past few months I've been privately dealing with my cancer and treatment plan, while simultaneously stepping up The Music Tarot.
I chose to keep quiet about my health diagnosis because cancer is a low vibration energy that doesn't fit with my lifestyle or plans. 16 days ago, I underwent a bilateral mastectomy without reconstruction. 12 hours after returning home from the hospital, I released another new song and posted the release content all by myself. I could barely walk that day, but I still managed to release my song. As it turns out, the woman in Unstoppable / Nine of Wands IS me.
A week after surgery, I learned that I had four separate tumors containing two different types of cancer in my right breast and pre-cancer, which imaging had not detected, in my left breast. Luckily, the cancer tumors were small and no cancer was detected in my lymph nodes.
I am considering sharing what my husband, Miah, and I went through in a new blog I've been writing. I had been planning to publish the first 6 entries today but I'm not ready to be that vulnerable yet. There were some incredible miracles along the way that I want to write down, so I can remember, and tell you, just how amazing the Universe can be.
Until I feel ready to share the whole story, I'm starting by letting you know I beat cancer. Please help me celebrate this incredible accomplishment by listening to Unstoppable / Nine of Wands. I hope you love it.
