SUIT OF PENTACLES - THE PHYSICAL SELF
⭐️ I have written five of the songs in the Suit of Pentacles. Two have been released.
The Pentacles are associated with the earth and represent the physical world, everyday life, money, business, and practical matters. In astrology, Pentacles correspond with Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.
In a standard deck of playing cards, Pentacles are known as Diamonds.
Mostly modest is how I live. I don't drive a fancy car, nor live in a big house. The less I physically own, the more freedom I feel. It allows me to reduce my fears of loss and also stay cash flow positive. I frequently replaced my possessions with newer, shinier ones when I was younger. But today, I recognize that some things increase in value the longer they exist over time. I only upgrade when it serves a function. I appreciate it, but I do not need luxury. When it comes to my music, I am less modest. I spend what I must to produce the best art. This includes my graphic design. The emerald green color used in the artwork for this suit was a challenge. I was afraid it would look “Packer Green” and I had difficulty seeing it any other way at first. My graphic designer tried turquoise and other shades of green, but in the end, the deep emerald color was the most fitting.
